DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will render technical decisions related to assigned systems by independently defining project objectives, scope, resource utilization, and technical platforms and tools. This role also participates in decisions regarding administrative and personnel issues. You will serve as lead developer for the Pennsylvania Tax Hub (PATH). Work includes providing direction to staff, meeting with business team members, and providing operational support for day-to-day processing as well as analyzing and translating management and business process objectives and procedures into technology solutions that meet the business requirements. Share your advanced technical skills to help us provide Pennsylvania taxpayers with a variety of self-service options, error-reducing assistance, and other efficient advantages today! - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with a minimum of one day per month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4; or
- Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
- One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
