DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Equipment Operator B, you will be responsible for the grounds maintenance and operation of the public fishing and boating facilities and impoundments either owned or leased by the PA Fish and Boat Commission. This position is headquartered in Bellefonte (Centre County) and specializes in the operation of equipment and vehicles of 32,001 pounds or more. You may also assist in other improvements and construction projects as schedules permit.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Based on seasons and needs, this position may qualify to work an Alternate Work Schedule.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; or
- Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- All employees must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license that is not currently under suspension.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) at the time of employment.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
