Job Summary
This position includes dual responsibilities as a Behavioral Care Therapist and Training Supervisor for the Behavioral Care department. The role involves providing therapeutic services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions. The position also provides clinical supervision to training-licensed therapists and interns, monitors compliance with documentation and regulations, and develops training programs to enhance clinical competencies. This balance ensures both client care and program success of Prevea's Behavioral Care program.
What you will do
* Deliver direct therapeutic services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions, while maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
* Provide clinical supervision and guidance to training-licensed therapists and interns, ensuring adherence to state statutes and licensing board requirements. Monitor and evaluate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
* Develop and implement training programs for interns and therapists, including onboarding and ongoing education. Facilitate regular individual and group supervision sessions, offering constructive feedback to enhance clinical competencies and professional growth. Stay current on best practices in behavioral health and integrate them into training efforts.
* Partner with academic institutions to support internship programs and maintain accurate records of supervision hours and clinical evaluations as required by licensing boards. Contribute to policy and procedure development related to clinical training and supervision. Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of interns and training-licensed therapists.
* Serve as a resource and mentor for team members within the Behavioral Care department, fostering a supportive and collaborative training environment. Collaborate with department leaders to align training programs with organizational goals and values.
Education Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Psychology, Social work, Psychiatric Nursing, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field. Required
Experience Qualifications
* 5-7 years experience as a LCSW, LMFT or LPC Required
* 1-3 years Previous supervisory experience OR training in supervising per Wisconsin statutes Required

Licenses and Certifications
* Wisconsin licensed as a psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional counselor, or psychiatric nurse. Upon Hire Required
* Medicaid outpatient certification Upon Hire Required
* CPS/BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program. Upon Hire Required
