Public Health Program Associate 2

As a Public Health Program Associate 2, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities. Your main duties will include staying up-to-date on the current cancer screening guidelines and understanding how they relate to the data system. In addition, you will be expected to provide technical assistance to screening grantees, program staff, and providers. Your work will involve developing manuals, working documents, and various forms, as well as running queries and reports. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other program and division staff to ensure the success of the overall program. Your work in this position will be crucial in promoting early detection and prevention of cancer, ultimately contributing to the improvement of public health.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with 1 day a month in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Public Health Program Associate 1 (commonwealth title); or
• A bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
