Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Engineer for a 12+ month, contract position. This role is working with an insurance company on site, in the Milwaukee, WI area. Responsibilities: Gather inventory and ship Network equipment to Field Offices. Decommission returned hardware Provide 'remote hands' support to data center customers. Respond to and resolve support tickets in the system Provide level-one Network support Test Fiber and copper cables Clean Fiber and copper cables Clean and replace SFPs if needed Install and maintain the structured cabling system. Maintain inventory of fiber and copper cabling Quote and order additional materials as needed Quote and order materials to build out additional Data Center capacity Rack & stack of IT hardware Maintain records and document issues utilizing our DCIM system (Netterrain) Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions with our facilities systems Work cross-functionally with the CEE team as needed Requirements: 1-5 years of experience Experience in ServiceNow, ServiceNow ATF, ITSM background Experience in Cable Installation Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Attention to detail Preferred Experience: Experience in shipping materials and asset management Compensation: $28 - $33 W2H Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
