We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Contracts Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in contract management within a dynamic and global corporate environment.

Global Furniture Group is seeking a Contracts Intern to support our contracts management processes. The selected candidate will work closely with our contracts professionals, contributing to the accurate and efficient management of contractual agreements and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of contract records and documentation.
  • Participate in the review of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the proposal database.
  • Assist in redesigning and enhancing existing response templates.
  • Set up and identify aspects within agreements, bids, and past proposals to record terms and historical responses through a database.
  • Collaborate with business teams to address contract-related issues and concerns.
  • Support the management of contracts with vendors and suppliers, including contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and databases.
  • Contribute to the analysis of contract data and reporting as needed.
  • Participate in initiatives to streamline and improve the efficiency of contract management processes and bid response processes.
  • Provide input on best practices and potential enhancements.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, English, Liberal Arts or a related field.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to contract management initiatives.
