Job purpose

The Product Management Intern will work closely with our Product Management team and Sales Champions to help drive product strategy and market positioning.

PRIMARY GOALS:

  1. To improve Global Systems market share by implementing area business plan.
  2. Ensure proper product positioning (internally and externally) through product training, presentations, opportunity response and competitive awareness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to gather data on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze market data and provide actionable insights to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Support the Sales Champions in their efforts to promote and sell our products, including the preparation of sales materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and sales, to ensure product alignment with market demands.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, including feedback from sales teams and customers.

Qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for furniture design and the interior design industry is a plus.
