Design Visualization Specialist

Bolton & Menk is looking to add a Design Visualization Specialist to our team in our Mankato or Eden Prairie locations. What You Will Be Doing:

In this role you will produce complex 3D design visualizations and animations to help tell the story of the projects we work on. Join us as we expand our service offerings in the areas of AR, VR and XR. You will partner with our project managers on concepts used for presentations, promotional material and immersive reality experiences.

• Create 3D & 2D visualization and 3D fly through animations
• Create compositions that include still renderings, animations, graphics, and video footage
• Compile data from various sources including CAD, MicroStation, and VISSIM traffic data for use in still visualizations and full motion animations
• Create unique and engaging WebGL interactive digital experiences
• Create Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) environments for client and marketing purposes
• Develop 2D & 3D motion graphics for video productions
• Work with stakeholders to analyze and understand their 3D graphic needs
• Maintain animation asset library. Assure all assets are archived for future needs and reference
• Review and make recommendations for technology upgrades to ensure compatibility with existing and future requirements
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other work groups, contributing input, ideas, and talents
• Requires a Driver's License or Public Transportation as you may travel to various facilities and job sites

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree in 3D animation motion graphic development, multimedia, or equivalent experience and portfolio
• 2 years or more of professional experience in animation and visualization
• Experience in video game development a plus
• Experience in interactive UI/UX a plus

Intermediate to advanced skills in the following:

• AutoDesk 3D Studio Max or equivalent modeling software
• GPU & CPU Rendering Technologies
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation - a plus
• Experience incorporating VISSIM traffic data in 3D animations - a plus
• WebGL authoring environments such as Unreal Engine or equivalent
• Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Video editing software
• Microsoft Office programs
• Advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of technical plans and models
• Experience working with the public on construction projects is highly preferred, though not required

Salary Range: $79,000 - $100,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
