About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Applications for this position will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

AI is only as intelligent as the data it can access. As a MuleSoft Account Executive, you sit at the epicenter of the most significant shift in enterprise tech: The Agentic Revolution. You aren't just selling APIs; you are architecting the Data Foundation that makes autonomous agents possible. By unifying MuleSoft's connectivity, Salesforce Data Cloud's scale, and our strategic Informatica partnership, you empower CIOs to move past simple chatbots and deploy AI agents that actually act across the entire enterprise.

Why This Role?

  • The Prime Position: While you are part of the broader Data Foundation ecosystem, MuleSoft is your product, your quota, and your focus. You are the driver who unlocks the data that everyone else is waiting for.

  • The Unfair Advantage: You'll sell the #1 priority for every 2026 C-suite executive: turning "static data" into "agentic action."

  • The Power Trio: You lead the charge, leveraging Informatica for deep data management and Data Cloud for scale, ensuring your customers bridge the "Data Gap" that holds AI back.

Your Day-to-Day: Architect of the Connected AI Enterprise

As a MuleSoft AE, you are the strategic lead for the foundational layer of the Salesforce ecosystem. You don't just sell connectivity; you sell the infrastructure that makes modern enterprise intelligence possible.

  • Own the MuleSoft Mandate: You are responsible for driving MuleSoft ACV. Your primary objective is to position MuleSoft as the essential data foundation that feeds Data Cloud and powers Agentforce.

  • Lead "Data Foundation" Discovery: You will lead deep-dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to uncover the fragmented systems holding their AI back. You'll articulate how a MuleSoft-led foundation is the only way to build a secure, future-proof AI roadmap.

  • Orchestrate the Ecosystem: You are the "quarterback." You will collaborate with Data Cloud and Informatica specialists to solve complex data gravity problems, ensuring MuleSoft remains the primary engine for integration and automation.

  • Identify "AI-Ready" Whitespace: You will hunt for high-value use cases. You'll show a Head of Operations or a CFO how MuleSoft - leveraging our Informatica partnership for legacy data - can automate workflows and prep them for an autonomous future.

  • Value-Based Outcomes: You'll spend your day translating technical API connectivity into high-level business ROI. You'll prove that without a robust MuleSoft foundation, an enterprise's AI and Data investments cannot succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enterprise: 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales

  • Experience in selling technical platforms preferred

  • Integration / API Market Awareness

  • Management of large key account(s)

  • Ability to strategize with a large extended team

  • Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
