Position Summary

The Director, Health Data Products is focused and centered on strategic development and management of external partnerships and internal capabilities focused on utilizing de-identified health data. The aim is to leverage this data for the creation of healthcare products and services.

Essential Functions

  • Establish a framework to safely, compliantly and effectively leverage de-identified health data in support of the development of novel healthcare products and services.

  • Establish and nurture partnerships with healthcare organizations, technology companies, research institutions, and other relevant entities that can benefit from de-identified health data.

  • Ensure that the use of de-identified health data complies with legal and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and other privacy laws. Develop and enforce data governance frameworks that maintain data integrity and security.

  • Lead efforts to build partnerships that leverage de-identified health data.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to build de-identified data sets of unique interest to partners.

  • Make recommendation on building MultiCare's data infrastructure in support of these activities

Qualifications

  • Direct experience in building health data partnerships, and/or the application of health data in the development of products and services.

  • 10 years of experience in health care and/or health data.

  • Proven ability to:

    • Build and execute a strategy from the ground up.

    • Build internal and external relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.

    • Operate effectively in a complex organizational structure.

    • Manage a business unit and achieve revenue expectations.

  • Master's degree in any of the following or related fields

    • Data/Analytics

    • Science/Technology

    • Healthcare/Business Administration
