Overview

The responsibilities of this position is to conduct financial analysis, assist with business case development as it relates to procurement/vendor related contracts and help with data driven decision making.



Responsibilities

    Prepare and analyze financial business cases and reports related to procurement/vendor activities and provide recommendations to the line of business
  • Generate and interpret financial models and metrics
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure timely contract renewals and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Perform variance analysis, track spending against budgets and provide detailed financial reports to management
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies
  • Create and produce accurate standard and ad-hoc queries and reports to support business needs
  • Monitor and analyze corporate vendor spend
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor's in Accounting, Banking & Finance or Business Management or a minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 1 year's financial/statistical analytical terminology and methodology experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • The ability to complete tasks with accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Independent judgement and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and an advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills to analyze information

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
