Clariant is currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the Care Chemicals business unit in Clear Lake, TX. This position is an entry-level role responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment. This position requires strong safety awareness, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic production environment. This is a full time, onsite opportunity. Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs using various hand and power tools, ensuring proper tool selection, use, and care

* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and basic rigging setups

* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance and repair tasks

* Operate and maintain motorized equipment safely, including generators, compressors, lifts, and other job site machinery

* Apply proper lubrication techniques and select appropriate lubricants for various mechanical components to ensure optimal equipment performance

* Record maintenance activities utilizing SAP for accurate documentation

* Receive and organize incoming materials using SAP to support inventory and workflow management

Requirements

* High school diploma required; certifications or experience in a manufacturing environment are a plus

* Minimum of 1 year in an industrial environment

* Exposure to SAP for recording and managing maintenance activities

* Successful completion of the NCCER Level I Industrial Maintenance Technician Assessment, preferred

* Comprehensive technical knowledge and willingness to learn

* Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols

* Effective communication and professional behavior within a team-oriented setting
