Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Supporting the IT communications and Organizational Change Management team on messaging and readiness activities required for technology implementation across Viatris.

  • Assisting the Office of the CIO in the development of content for internal and external IT communications, revamping the IT newsletter, creating SharePoint pages and supporting the IT employee recognition program, projects and organization-wide technology updates.

  • Creating an IT Resource Onboarding Toolkit that provides newcomers with the information they need to be successful in starting their Viatris IT journey.

  • Conducting market research to support efforts in attracting top talent around the globe to the Viatris IT organization in partnership with Global Human Relations.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related field. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to set and work to deadlines.

  • Exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written).

  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch with ease in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft 365 applications.

  • Understanding of corporate communications and familiarity with The Associated Press Stylebook.

The salary range for this position is: if pursuing Bachelor's degree = $20/hour, if pursuing Master's degree = $25/hour, if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
