Your Team, Your Impact

Play a pivotal role in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function within Marvell. As a Senior Staff Financial Analyst, you'll work closely with the business unit you support to provide meaningful data analysis. Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration.

What You Can Expect

  • Dive deep into financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to uncover trends and insights that will drive our success
  • Craft and present financial reports that tell a compelling story, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with variance analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape our annual budgeting process
  • Develop and manage financial models that enable us to forecast precisely and perform scenario analysis
  • Keep a watchful eye on budget vs. actual performance, providing strategic recommendations for adjustments
  • Be part of our drive to optimize manufacturing and operational expenses through detailed cost analysis
  • Evaluate product costs, pricing strategies, and profitability to ensure our competitive edge
  • Evaluating capital investment proposals and providing compelling justifications for capital expenditures
  • Be the guardian of financial regulations and reporting standards to ensure our financial integrity
  • Play a vital role in preparing financial documentation for audits and regulatory filings
  • Dive into exciting ad hoc financial analysis projects and deliver insights that will shape our strategic direction

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in business partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with ERP and financial software (Oracle, OneStream) is a plus

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

97,460 - 146,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
