Ignite Digital has an exciting opportunity for a Proposal Manager to lead bids for our Growth team. This position will interface with all levels of employees and management while leading multi-disciplinary teams to develop technical, management and past performance content for White Papers, Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs). The Proposal Manager is responsible for supporting the procurement process and leading the development and submission of proposals for government contracts. This individual will work closely with the Contracts, and Pricing to team ensure that proposals meet the requirements of the solicitation and are submitted on time. Responsibilities:



  • Review and analyze government solicitations to ensure compliance with all requirements and instructions, identify proposal evaluation criteria, and develop a compliance matrix to guide the proposal development process.
  • Lead the proposal team in all aspects of proposal development; including proposal kickoff meetings and color team reviews to ensure proposal submissions are compliant with government solicitation documents.
  • Work closely with the Technical Writers team to develop proposal content, including formatting, editing, and proofreading proposal sections.
  • Leverage proposal development techniques to drive the progress of proposal sections through proposal color team reviews.
  • Assist in the development of proposal graphics and visuals, including charts, graphs, and diagrams.
  • Ensure that the proposal is fully compliant with the solicitation requirements and company policies and that all proposal content is complete, compliant, and compelling.
  • Proactively work with Capture to prepare proposal content for upcoming solicitations.
  • Partner with technical teams and capture management to develop and generate win strategies, themes, and discriminators for proposal responses.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members who are less familiar with proposal development.


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of successful experience in proposal development for government contractors.
  • Experience in managing tasks in a fast-paced team environment while incorporating changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate with executives.
  • Experience developing clear, logical, and persuasive responses across a variety of technical and non-technical documents such as past performance and boilerplate libraries.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional proposal teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple proposals and tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to review, edit, and approve proposal content for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Desired Qualifications:



  • APMP Certification
  • Comfortability with proposal writing, willingness to support writing or one-voicing if needed
