Pay rate: $20 - $26/hr. + $1/hr. night shift differential if/when applicable. (Must be flexible with schedule)

Days of the week: Sun - Thurs

Hours: Sun - Mon 5:00am - 1:30pm; Tues - Thurs 9:00am - 5:30pm

Material Specialist responsibilities:



  • Manage inventory and control metrics in a 24/7 shop environment, including material issuance, stockouts, and cycle counts.
  • Forecast material needs, arrange shipments, and perform quality control on inbound and outbound shipments to meet company standards.
  • Utilize multiple software programs to order, receive, ship, and track materials, including Hazmat materials, and process sales and repair cycle assets.
  • Read mechanical drawings, process warranty claims, and restock warehouse and shop floor materials.
  • Operate forklifts, perform daily inspections, and ensure proper safety protocols and housekeeping in the warehouse.
  • Compile inventory reports, assist with physical inventory counting, and answer material requests from Circle of Service shops.
  • Record material transactions in systems, assemble customer orders, and complete additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma, GED, or at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in logistics or shipping/receiving.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and experienced in operating forklifts and shop equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a warehouse/shop environment.
  • Flexible schedule with reliable attendance and willingness to work various shifts, including auditing and training as needed.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
