Clinical Research Nurse, Per Diem Neurology Per Diem 83315BR Job Summary The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse is a professional nurse who possesses the education, knowledge, clinical skills and experience necessary to provide expert nursing care in the area of clinical research. The primary responsibilities of the Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse are the direct application of clinical expertise to study participants in the Neuroscience Clinical Research Unit. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse works collaboratively with the Medical Director of the NCRU, NCRU Nurse Manager, Principal Investigators, and research staff to conduct study procedures per protocol. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse has responsibility for maintaining quality of care standards for all procedures performed and for ensuring all clinical care meets regulatory standards for the patients participating in clinical trials. The Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse evidences self-direction, accountability, and an attention to detail. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $111.29 - $144.16 (Hourly Rate).
