SA Accounting Clerk

Description

The duties and responsibilities:



  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Prepare bank deposits, customer invoices and statements.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
  • Daily enter key data entry of financial transactions into database.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
  • Research, track and record accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Uses accounting computer system to post employees' expense reports
  • Regular attendance is required


Job Requirements:



  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 year general office experience.
  • Must have good handwriting and be accurate in filing and other clerical task.
  • Familiarity with operation of office machines such as copier, fax, etc.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Open and willing to assume additional responsibilities above and beyond the job description.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.


Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
