Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite for our client in Fremont, CA Interested?

Here's what you'll do:

  • Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
  • Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
  • Develops specifications for new contract orders.
  • Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity;
  • Creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems.
  • Create and implement sourcing strategies for EI Hardware Products
  • Operational Procurement: Assist with RFQ process, competitive bidding, analyze bids, and onboarding suppliers
  • Work with internal business partners and suppliers to drive lead time efficiencies, reduce supply chain risks, and provide sustainable solutions
  • Analyze market trends and improve costs for Client
  • Develop mechanisms and metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery
  • Coordinate logistics support and packaging arrangements for shipments, including handling export permits and documentation
  • Oversee receiving, picking, inventory control, resupply, and shipping functions
  • Manage inventory, liaise with buyers, handle OB, and scrap

Pay: $62.14 /Hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: Contract (12 months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Vendor/Supplier Relationships, Purchasing/Buying, Data Analysis
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in SAP
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in material
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Procurement, Inventory control, Presentation
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Able to draft communications to large audiences, and ability to communicate to executive level
