Cyber Systems Engineer, Senior Advisor

Peraton is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Intel team here in Annapolis Junction, MD. We are looking for an engineer to augment the existing dataflow team for a large analytic cloud repository. The selected candidate will work with the team providing Data Flow Management for Data Distribution (DDS) Team. To do this, you'd need experience working with data flow or NiFi flow engineering.

This work supports a prime program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise to include the following:

Data management and delivery capabilities such as dataflow management, streaming analytic frameworks, a user-driven rules-based data management system, and the development and maintenances of customer systems and tools
• High ingest rate cloud-based content and metadata architecture, analytic platforms, and enterprise-wide support of a suite of tools to improve developer and operator experience/productivity

To support an evolving infrastructure requires the use of methodologies that provide flexibility while reducing time-to-mission of new capabilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required
• Willingness to work on-call shifts as needed

Highly Desired Skills:

• Experience with data government (DMRs, DLMS, DSW, DART) processes
• Experience with security and compliance as it relates to data handling
• Experience with access control and the catalog labelling process.
