SCHEDULE: Hourly Hours may vary based on program needs LOCATION: ISD742 ABE Sites REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Adult Basic Education Programs SUPERVISION: None SALARY: QUALIFICATIONS: Required Current K-12 teaching license (any subject area); licensure in ABE; or BA or MA in ESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Bilingual Education Preferred Previous experience working with adults POSITION SUMMARY: This position will teach a variety of subject areas to adult learners who are studying to achieve an Adult High School Diploma, as issued through the Minnesota Department of Education or to adults studying English as a Second Language; to create a safe and caring climate and culture in which we prepare, engage, educate, empower and inspire all learners in partnership with their surrounding community to be successful in today's and tomorrow's society.
