Transfer Station Laborer

Peninsula Sanitation, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Transfer Station Laborer to join our teamin Ilwaco, WA. This is a full-time position with a great company. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and are a self-motivated, hardworking individual with good communication skills we want to talk to you.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm. The starting pay for this position is $21.53/hr.

Responsibilities Include:

• Flagging / Directing traffic as it comes through.
• Weed eating and pressure washing
• Painting
• Helping / Interacting with customers.
• Site cleanup/ litter picking
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least1 year of work experience. Preferably in ablue-collar type position where you utilize customer service skills.
• The ability tostand outsidethroughout a 10 hr shift.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Forklift/Backhoe experience is a plus
• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
