This opportunity is located within our EnviroLogix business that develops and manufactures testing solutions for detecting GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins and chemical contaminants in multiple agricultural matrices. Job Description General Summary: This position will provide a resource for three (3) main areas of focus Technical support for existing products, to include problem solving, manufacturability improvements, process creation/improvement/documentation related to existing product manufacturing best practices, material and/or component qualifications. Sustainment of existing 3rd party certifications and assistance for new product certifications. Small development projects to assess feasibility, expand applications for existing products, develop and implement improvements for existing product applications. This position will work closely with all departments within Manufacturing, Technical Support, R&D and Quality. Responsibilities Include:
- Troubleshooting/ problem solving for persistent issues in the manufacture of existing products.
- Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) Investigations: risk assessment and problem solving to include identification of preventative measures and implementing them through our Quality Management System.
- Technical representation at swarms: Needs identification and participation.
- Assist with maintenance and renewal of third-party product certifications in addition to assisting in the certification of new products.
- Assist with small projects related to product application expansion, feasibility assessments, improvements to existing product applications.
- Assist in the development and sustainment of troubleshooting playbooks for existing processes.
- Technical review/support for the Transfer Process of new products/processes/materials into Manufacturing.
- Backup Manufacturing Support as needed.
- Quality documentation support as needed: Change Requests, NCR, CAPA.
- Follow established safe work practices and working in a safe manner, following EnviroLogix safety policies and procedures, and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the supervisor or the Environmental, Health, and Safety department for corrective action.
- Other task as requested by Manager.
Reports To: Director of Quality Technology Skills Required:
- Good understanding of lateral flow devices and ELISA, PCR or other DNA testing also helpful.
- Capable of quickly achieving competency in multiple biotech related technologies.
- Self-motivated, execution oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage time and assigned projects with minimal oversight.
- Positive work ethic and passionate attitude
- Proven ability to work well in team environment with sound negotiation and problem-solving skills

Requirements:
- BS degree and a minimum of two years of experience in BioTech product development, technical support or technical customer success positions
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in both an office and laboratory environment
- Ability to utilize a computer and phone for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
