We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our inside sales team in a dynamic, fast-paced circuit board manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will excel at developing relationships with clients, driving sales growth, and mentoring a high-performing team. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, particularly printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) production.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage an inside sales team.
- Set and track sales team targets, ensuring individual and team goals are met or exceeded.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team efficiency.
- Streamline internal sales order entry and customer management processes.
- Maintain and update processes and work instructions for the department.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and reports to drive revenue growth with existing customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate quotations, orders, and customer follow-ups.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Serve as a point of escalation for resolving customer inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with external sales and engineering teams to meet customer needs effectively.
Operational Coordination:
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics, trends, and forecasts, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure adherence to company policies.
Market Insight:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and advancements in PCB manufacturing.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on customer satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a related industry.
- Proven track record of project management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of printed circuit board/electronic assembly and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
