Responsibilities

  • Provide quality processed and sterilized instrumentation and supplies throughout the hospital, following regulatory guidelines and departmental procedures.
  • Assuring suitable delivery of instrumentation to all departments serviced.
  • Support and promote departmental priorities with respect to personal and patient safety.
  • Effectively organize activities in a time efficient manner to ensure the delivery of care is proficient.
  • Comprehend and complete regulatory record-keeping as set by departmental policies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Central Sterile Processing Setting.
  • Must be able to lead team members successfully in a high stress environment.
  • CBSPD certification or equivalent for Sterile Instrument Processing. Must be completed no more than one year after date of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Surgical instrumentation is preferred.
