We are seeking an Operations RMA Engineer, responsible for advanced testing, verifying, and refurbishing of incoming RMA units from the field in a timely manner at a high level of quality. This position will also support the Quality, Support and R&D teams with troubleshooting and root cause analysis. What will you do
The skills you bring
LAN/WAN VLAN DHCP/DNS Resolution VPN
Common command-line troubleshooting tools (i.e. ping, ipconfig/ifconfig,traceroute/tracert) SSH/Telnet Ability to read device logs and identify patterns. Understanding of troubleshooting flow best practices
Understanding of basic electrical concepts (Watts/Volts/Amps) Understanding of through-hole, SMT, and electrical assembly processes Proficient at performing solder /rework on electronic devices Bonus Points:
Advanced knowledge of other vendors' networking solutions Knowledge of common software services (AD, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP managers) Python REST API SDK JSON data structures Cloud device management Familiarity with cellular networking Why join Ericsson?
