IoT Edge Engineer

Ecolab is looking for an experienced IoT Edge Engineer to be part of a dynamic team that's at the forefront of technological innovation. This is a hybrid role based in Naperville, IL, St. Paul, MN, or Eagan, MN.

What You Will Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the IoT interfaces and software

• Develop, implement, and maintain ML algorithm detection containers and the Extensions required to update the algorithms and software in the future.

• Develop, implement, and maintain all edge server software required to interface with the Azure backend through IoT interfaces

• Kubernetes cluster development

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field

• Four (4) years of IoT and container development experience

• Experience with YAML, Python, Linux/Ubuntu, Kubernetes (K3S), and Dockers

• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications

• Gitops pipeline experience

• MQTT IoT experience

• Edge computing frameworks

• Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
