Job Summary:

U.S. Pavement Services is currently seeking a Production Director to oversee operational production to ensure that revenue and profitability goals are met while providing the best customer experience, maintaining all safety requirements and work is completed accurately and efficiently



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Ensure that crews are properly staffed for safe and efficient project completion
    • Office point of contact for on-site communication
    • Coordinate and send Daily Crew Schedule with assistance from Superintendents
    • Review and send daily schedule updates
    • Lead daily operations call
    • Work with Superintendents to identify and communicate change orders in a timely manner
    • Assign and maintain proper morning and weekend management coverage
    • Review Customer Service Issues weekly, assign resources to review (Supers, PM, etc.) to quickly address and rectify CSI to customer satisfaction
    • Assist in and approve of all operational new hires
    • Perform annual performance reviews with direct reports and be in any key operation field personnel reviews
    • Snow operation staffing
    • Fleet/Equipment - Work with operations team and President to identify yearly CAPEX equipment needs
  • Be a value-added member of the team
    • Maintain close, positive working relationship with all staff and colleagues
    • Represent the company favorably to customers and vendors at all times
    • Follow existing procedures and provide feedback for improvement whenever possible
    • Be willing to "step up" to positively lead colleagues and subordinates

  • Demonstrable knowledge of construction processes with an emphasis on commercial asphalt work.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and industry standards/best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with senior management to achieve the necessary goals.
  • Must be able to perform in a team atmosphere with proven leadership skills
