Job Title: Azure Operations Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Azure Operations Manager to oversee and manage our Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud operations, particularly with Microsoft Azure, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Develop and enforce cloud governance policies and best practices.
• Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features, updates, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Azure Cloud computing experience
• 3+ years of experience managing day to day operations in an infrastructure role
• 3+ years of project/program management roles within an IT organization
• Experience managing high performing teams in a fast-paced environment
