Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating social media content, overseeing the company website, supporting the company's involvement in marketing, promotional and other community events while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Family Vision, Core Purpose, Core Values, Strategic priorities, and business objectives.

Essential Job Accountabilities



  1. Comply, understand, and promote safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."
  2. Develop, curate, and deploy social media campaigns on multiple platforms to attract and engage customers and community members for Graniterock.
  3. Facilitate content and design of Graniterock website to attract traffic and promote our brand, with support from Communications team.
  4. Facilitate the design and procurement of Graniterock branded and logoed materials to ensure consistency and quality.
  5. Support Graniterock sales team in training, trade shows and other marketing and promotional events.
  6. Assist in development of construction proposals and execute external marketing campaigns.
  7. Support community involvement efforts by coordinating events and staffing booths.


Education and Work Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, branding or similar role.
  • Experience in website management and creating digital content.
  • Experience with social media management and engagement.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Strong social media skills, knowledge of current social trends.
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design tools (Canva, PowerPoint, InDesign).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments at Graniterock.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of branding, digital marketing and event coordination.
  • Ability to represent Graniterock positively in the community.
  • Must have valid California driver's license and clean driving record.


This position has been identified as a "safety sensitive" role and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing, per the Graniterock Substance Abuse policy.
