Essential Duties and Responsibilities This senior level technical role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical and automated systems for dry vans, refrigerated vans, and intermodal chassis. The successful candidate will have the skills and talents to work in a cross functional team that will provide leadership to the company in shifting the paradigm of manufacturing dry vans, refrigerated vans, and intermodal chassis. A willingness to learn and apply are a requirement for this position. This role is a mix of both mechanical and automated engineering across multiple plants. Projects will be comprised of both current and new products. Some of the daily tasks in this role are work center design, line balancing, developing manufacturing design solutions, programming, system integration, and troubleshooting complex machinery and software. Provide technical support for plant production by responding to line disruptions and issues
