Job Title: HVAC Technician
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems and controls. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls and equipment using proper testing equipment Work from drawings and manuals to diagnose and resolve issues Install new or used equipment using appropriate construction tools Charge and start up large chiller systems Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components on chillers, rooftops, fan units, and other HVAC equipment Repair and rebuild pumps and compressors Maintain and service building automation systems (BAS) Requirements: High School diploma or GED Minimum 4 years of HVAC experience OR completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program Valid stationary engineer license EPA Universal certification Proficiency in pneumatic controls, instruments, automatic dampers, air flows, and air balancing for large institutions Knowledge of water and steam systems Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and ability to diagnose BAS issues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions If you meet these qualifications and are looking for a challenging opportunity in HVAC maintenance and repair, we encourage you to apply.
