Position Summary: The RPS Client Service Plan Coordinator's responsibilities include processing contributions and error corrections, communicating system knowledge and expertise in assisting plan sponsors with contributions, processing rollover funds, preparing loan documents and monitoring participant loan activity and maintaining investment knowledge and keeping up to date on technical and legislative changes. This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines up to one day per week upon completion of onboarding.

Essential Functions:



  • Process contributions and error corrections. Communicate system knowledge and expertise in assisting Plan Sponsors with contributions.
  • Process rollover funds and complete critical functions for accepting rollovers and maintaining qualified plan status.
  • Maintain working knowledge of loan regulations to prepare loan documents, monitor and balance activity and review late payments to keep the plan in qualified status.
  • Balance cash and units on a daily basis.
  • Maintain and verify vesting percentages on all participants prior to distributions.
  • Maintain investment knowledge and keep up to date on technical and legislative changes.
  • Provide high standard of customer service to plan sponsors, participants, bank employees and auditors.
  • Cross-trained on other RPS positions to provide back-up to ensure daily functions are handled.
  • Responsible for developing new procedures and keeping current procedures up to date.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • Strong accounting/reconcilement skills required.
  • 1 year pension plan recordkeeping/administration knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products and in working with other bank software.
  • Thorough knowledge of database management software preferred.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work - may occasionally involve lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds.
