Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in either or our Minneapolis office

Join Our Dynamic Information Technology Team

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to ensure smooth and secure installation, operation, and maintenance of servers, services, and network infrastructure, including the areas where this equipment is housed. Primary functions are assisting Help Desk staff and resolving end-user technical issues related to CEE systems, services, and equipment. System Administrators are also involved in the vetting, designing, and refactoring of software and services, as well as the policies and guidelines surrounding them. The position is primarily remote work but will require in-office visits on an as-needed basis, both scheduled and unscheduled.

What You'll Do



  • Server, service (including SaaS), and network administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including the office spaces in which this equipment resides (technology vendors and manufacturers include but are not limited to Microsoft, Dell, Google, Canonical, Quest, IBM, HP, Apple, Paragon)
  • Server golden image maintenance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot patch management systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot software distribution systems including vetting new software
  • Assist in tier II/III Help Desk support for all end-user facing technologies
  • Maintain and train on documentation for both internal IT and end-user education
  • Maintain and troubleshoot security focused systems including but not limited to AV, SIEM, NIDS
  • Maintain and troubleshoot backup and DR systems including conducting regular exercises to ensure data integrity
  • Other tasks as assigned or apparent



Skills & Knowledge We're Looking For



  • 4 or more years of experience in IT
  • 2 or more years of experience in Systems Administration
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Team-oriented
  • Communication and organizational soft skills with a willingness to train others
  • Flexibility to work after normal business hours as needed
  • Professional experience in these domains is desirable: Microsoft operating systems, Azure/O365/SharePoint, MDM, Ubuntu Linux, Google Workspace, PowerShell/CLI scripting, SQL, patch management



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes, IT appliances, and other hardware
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • You may be asked to assist in low voltage wiring/troubleshooting. This may include working on ladders.



Compensation

Dependent on qualifications and experience, we expect the hiring range for this position will be $75k to $78k.
