Wausau Window and Wall Systems Status: Non- Exempt Pay Level: 3 Plant/Department: Paint Plant- Racking Department Reports to: Production Supervisor Summary of Position: Repairing and maintaining racks for use in paint line. Essential Duties: Welding racks Fabrication Grinding Cutting with a torch Rack repair Send out dirty racks to be cleaned Trains others Other duties as assigned Maintain load bars Other Duties as assigned Flex into other areas as needed Apply Lean principles in own work performance and drive Lean applications in company operations Required Skills: Basic math and reading skills required Excellent verbal communication skills required Job Specific Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Required to wear PAPR Respirator MATERIAL HANDLING: Occasionally 50lbs: Squat Lifting Power Lifting Shoulder Lifting Overhead Lifting Bilateral Carry Pushing Pulling REPETATIVE FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITES: Frequent : Above Shoulder Reach Bending Stairs Forward Reach Squatting Fine Motor Coordination Gross Motor Coordination Simple Grasp Firm Grasp Pinching Occasionally: Ladder Sustained Squatting Repetitive Kneeling Sustained Kneeling Crawling Constant: Standing Grip Strength: 45 minimum grasp force for hire Pinch Strength: 6 minimum pinch force for hire *See HR for questions regarding physical demands Apogee and our brands are an equal opportunity employer.
