Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with clients to confirm status of outstanding invoices and obtain payment ETA's

  • Ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding invoices until payment is collected

  • Confirm necessary requests are completed and addressed

  • Document & maintain proper communication history on invoice payment status and collection efforts by all involved until resolution

  • Identify, collaborate, and communicate potential client services concerns and facilitate proactive intervention steps

  • Perform general administrative functions including research, data entry, e-filing, and scanning, as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience, associate degree with at least 2 years of experience, or 4 years or relevant experience in a similar role

  • Strong service orientation and ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Detail-oriented nature with a high capacity for learning and retaining

  • Team player who works proactively, takes initiative in solving problems, makes self available, and takes actions beyond normal responsibilities

  • Ability to coordinate with other departments on client-related matters

  • Understanding of general accounting principles and ability to apply them to daily workload

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.This position requires visual acuity and listening ability along with the ability to read and write. Individuals must have the dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, fax, copier, telephone, voice mail system, and other office equipment. The position mainly involves working at a desk and requires the ability to remain for extended periods at a workstation.

WJE offers a robust, total compensation structure, where the hourly rate is just one component of an employee's annual earnings. Additionally, employees may be eligible to receive overtime, variable compensation based on personal and company performance, often resulting in above-market annual earnings. Actual hourly rate will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role while remaining mindful of our commitment to internal equity. A good faith estimate of the starting hourly rate (gross) for this position is in the following range:

$19.23 - $28.85

This non-exempt position is eligible for additional overtime pay. Additionally, employees in this position receive an annual discretionary bonus based on personal and company performance.
