What You'll Do
- Primarily involved with drafting (plan, profile, section, notes) of GeoStructural Design projects.
- Transform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction/inspection drawings.
- Other responsibilities include preparation of site maps, soil boring logs, soil boring location diagrams, soil boring profiles, other pertinent figures.
- Office responsibilities may include assisting with or performing the following with supervision for training and development purposes:
- Perform entry level engineering calculations (depending on education)
- Reduction of geotechnical field data
- Ensure adherence to established company or client drafting standards
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of related experience with documented AutoCad training/certification
- Training, education and/or certification in Civil 3D, MicroStation and GIS applications (Arc-Map, Arc-Pro, QGIS, Google Earth) is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail, self-motivated and responsible with multi-tasking and prioritization
- Proficiency with basic computer operations, including Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu
- Emerging or limited experience with geotechnical and civil construction principles and applications
