Job Summary The Project Manager will serve as a contributing member within Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapies division, focusing on the Fresenius Kabi Cell and Gene Therapy (C>) portfolio. We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the development and launch of an innovative system for the C> industry. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure successful product development through market launch. The candidate will work closely with R&D, Commercial, and Regulatory as the primary project manager. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a complex project that spans across multiple functional groups, and to manage both internal and external stakeholders. This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our Lake Zurich U.S. headquarters. Responsibilities Develop the detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategy for the new product development. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with the cross-functional teams. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, business development, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables, go-to-market strategy, launch plans, and update the business case as needed. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders throughout the project, including project meeting discussions and weekly status reports. Responsible for communicating project status to all levels of senior management on a regular basis to facilitate informed decision-making. Utilize technical and industry knowledge to understand project requirements and challenges. Develop and manage project budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial restraints. Provide medical information to internal/external health resources such as the sales force, outside health professions, public, and government. Job Requirements* Bachelor's Degree required. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus. 5+ years of experience in cell and gene therapies, biotechnology, medical devices, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in a project management role, preferably in technical environment overseeing a product (device, lab equipment, or other instrumentation) development and launch. Minimum one year of management experience Ability and willingness to travel.
