In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you'll be doing...

The Operations & Channel Strategy team, as part of the Value Indirect Operations organization, orchestrates Value Indirect strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring channel readiness and operational excellence.

As the Business Intelligence - Sr Mgr, you will be the key connection between the Value Indirect Distribution Strategy & Analytics team and the new Field Sales organization. You will be responsible for using distribution and personnel data to build and maintain the Total Wireless & Authorized Retailer store territory structure and supporting the new Value Indirect field team from a distribution data perspective.

  • Leverage distribution data to manage, implement, and evolve the Field territory mapping model & structure using predictive analytics tools & geospatial modeling

  • Maintain end-to-end ownership of multiple complex strategic initiatives/projects simultaneously and organize/prioritize them to align to the Value Indirect's broader strategic goals

  • Manage field team & territory data, ensuring data is managed within respective data tables for stakeholder access & insights

  • Manage various distribution related tools, platforms, and reporting, enabling a frictionless flow of information to the Value Indirect business team

  • Perform regular, ongoing analyses of the territory mapping structure to ensure new distribution within Verizon Value Indirect is properly accounted for

  • Serve as a Total Wireless store channel subject matter expert, advising cross functional teams on channel nuances, processes, and ways of working

  • Consistently deliver high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demostrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, and/or process automation.

  • Experience with business intelligence and/or data analysis like Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx and/or similar tools.

  • Experience with Advanced SQL and/or other database programming language experience

  • Experience with distribution and/or strategy.

  • Program and/or Project management experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.

  • Experience with geospatial analytics.

  • 3+ years actively working in Distribution Strategy and/or Analytics.

  • 3+ years of program and / or project management experience.

  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.

  • Excellent executive presentation skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A team player orientation, collaborating well with others.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.

Where you'll be working

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $107,000.00 and $198,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
