Description

This is a role for a Business Development Associate at Syneos Health Communications. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating leads from a defined target list of potential companies/clients, through direct outreach, managing email campaigns, and communicating with stakeholders to help drive outreach. This is a hybrid role that can be remote or office-based in Charlotte, NC.

  • Develop and send/implement outbound communications to solicit business. Meeting or exceeding outbound quality and volume metrics.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive lead nurture strategy, working with marketing & client acquisition partners to build campaign assets that reach prospects and customers, aligned with the lead generation metrics and integrated campaigns.
    • Plan, create, and execute email and other outreach programs by working closely with marketing and account teams, to jointly develop the overall messaging and strategic plans.
  • Analyze campaign results in detail, draw insights and make adjustments based off your learnings
  • Continuously review data to identify opportunities or problems and guide decisions.
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand creation process, including response and conversion rates.
  • Develop/modify email templates and existing email campaigns, tailoring towards intended audience
  • Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and SMS messaging in partnership with Marketing team.
  • Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency.
  • Perform CRM database maintenance tasks as required.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in lead generation and digital marketing, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of Lead Gen, Business Development, CRM or relevant experience
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong initiative, proactive, and able to operate independently
  • Understanding of the medical device/technology and/or pharma industry is a plus
  • Relevant email development work experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Account, Business Development, and Marketing teams

  • Strong business acumen and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Executive presence with the ability to present to and influence senior level audiences
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities, driving both strategic and tactical activities in parallel

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
