Position Type: Community Education/Volleyball Coach Date Posted: 11/27/2024 Location: Minnetonka Community Education Center (MCEC) Date Available: Spring 2025 Assignment: Lead practices two times per week as well as one away game per week in April and May. Wages: Stipend Primary Objective: Provide coaching and instruction for a boys' volleyball program for grades 7th-10th. Job Responsibilities: Coach volleyball participants in evening activities (6:00-9:00pm) up to three night per week. Help all players develop to their full potential. Support and promote Minnetonka Community Education and Minnetonka Volleyball's philosophies regarding player development. Implement program goals and guidelines. Effectively communicate practice and game schedules with parents and participants. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Promote respect for officials, opposing coaches, visiting teams, parents, fans, students, athletes, and administrators. Ensure that all participants follow MCE and Minnetonka School district guidelines for code of conduct.
