All about the role:

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the exploration and development of sustainable and effective solutions. Your expertise in conducting tests, analyzing data, and optimizing processes will be essential in shaping the future of our industry.

We are looking for someone with a technical/scientific background, hands-on laboratory experience, and a passion for discovery. As a critical part of our collaborative environment, you will work alongside top-tier professionals and engineers, leveraging advanced technologies to tackle challenging problems and deliver meaningful results.

What you'll do:

  • Participate in new product and/or system development including build and test of both prototype and production cooking products.

  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical and electrical technologies.

  • Independently perform design experiments.

  • Provide technical direction in problem-solving; act as an advisor to technical personnel.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing results and unit history.

  • With minimal supervision, perform agency tests per UL 858, CSA C22.2, ANSI 21.1, and internal test specifications.

Qualifications required:

  • High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in a laboratory environment. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field would be preferred.

  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisition, testing procedures, and data analysis methods

  • Detailed knowledge of laboratory procedures

  • The position will require the ability to stay busy on your feet and lift light loads.

Where you'll be:

This position will be based at our R&D Laboratory in Springfield, Tennessee.
