The Broadband Technician is responsible for residential installation and disconnections for data, video, and phone on the customer premises with a high level of focus on customer service, customer education, and quality of work. This role will be responsible for ensuring and recording correct RF signal levels. The Broadband Technician is required to communicate with leadership and dispatch as needed.

Where you will work:



  • This position will be based in Astounds Port Townsend, WA office, and would be an in office/field role.



A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician:



  • Residential install and disconnects* (data, video, phone) on customer premises
  • Ensure/record correct RF and signal levels within specifications
  • Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed
  • Customer education
  • Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner
  • Other duties as assigned



What You Bring to the Table:



  • Experience: 0 (Entry Level)
  • Competencies: Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ladder; Hand or Power Tools; Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written); Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone



Education and Certifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent

The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. The base salary range in Washington for this position, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable, is:



  • Broadband Technician I - $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
  • Broadband Technician II - $21.00 - $29.40 per hour
  • Broadband Technician III - $22.05 - $30.87 per hour
