Staffmark is hiring a Material Coordinator to join the team at Silfex in Springfield, OH. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials to both internal and external customers. Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for assembling Silfex products into complete packages according to work instructions, processing incoming goods by verifying quantities against purchase orders or invoices, and performing high-level inspections for quality. You will ensure the timely transfer of goods to the originator, perform transactions in the ERP system to track inventory, and collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to maintain proper supply levels. Operating a forklift to move goods, maintaining a clean and safe work environment through routine housekeeping, and recording daily productivity will also be key parts of your role. Additionally, you will follow all company safety policies, contribute to lean manufacturing concepts and 5S initiatives, and assist with continuous improvement efforts to maintain a high level of organization and efficiency. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and documents. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, email). Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality. Prior experience in warehousing or material handling. Experience using an ERP system for data entry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to stand, use hands for handling materials, and perform tasks requiring physical movement. Ability to lift, walk, sit, and occasionally stoop or kneel.
