Daikin Applied is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst II! The Supply Chain Analyst II will be responsible for supporting the evaluations of supplier targets and ensuring their successful integration. Under general supervision, this position plays a key role in managing procurement requirements, supporting cost savings initiatives, developing robust reporting systems, participating in key sourcing events, and collaborating across facilities to drive continuous improvement initiatives. What you will do:



  • Develop financial models to quantify the impact of proposed supplier changes, cost negotiations, and strategic initiatives
  • Analyze large datasets related to supplier performance, cost improvement opportunities, and sourcing trends. Deliver actionable insights to management to enhance supply chain performance and decision-making
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with functional managers and supply chain teams to understand current and future business needs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with functional departments to identify inefficiencies and contribute to process maturity efforts that optimize supply chain operations
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in supplier performance data, incorporating macroeconomic and market dynamics to provide a comprehensive view of supplier and industry performance
  • Create compelling PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate analysis findings, project updates, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business needs and priorities

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 4 Year Bachelor Degree - Supply Chain, Operations, Economics or similar
  • 2+ Years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on translating data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 4+ Years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing or related field
