Description * Greets all visitors and examinees and directs them appropriately * Answers all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Screens each call, obtaining the callers' name and relevant detail regarding the nature of the call, then routes the call appropriately. * When necessary, reviews chart to verify examinee name, file number, case type, etc. and adds any additional information on chart appointment sheet prior to examination. * Provides examinees with all required paperwork for completion and ensures placement in the chart. * Routes examinee to exam room, vitals room and/or x-ray room as needed. * When necessary, chaperones examinations with female examinees or as requested by physician. * Maintains a smooth flow of examinations to ensure appointments are kept on schedule. * Performs clerical duties such as typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required. * Oversees the cleanliness of the lobby and reports any issues to management. * Promotes effective and efficient utilization of clinical resources and supplies. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Must be able to perform day travel as required * Must hold a valid state Driver's License and must have own reliable transportation * Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone * Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet. * High school diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 6 months on the job experience in a medical office or related field preferred. Work Environment Will have longer days - could be a 12 hour shift. Need to be open to starting(travel) as soon as 6am but the clinics open at 8am. Clinic closing hours vary based on patients scheduled as late at 8:00pm. Will work 75% in these home base (Everett), 25% of time will be asked to go outside of homebased location (Seattle) but will get paid mileage and hourly drive time to go to farther location. This role isn't a standard schedule. Can offer 40 hours but will include Saturdays (rotating 1 or 3 a month) and augmented schedule. Will get a schedule a month in advance. Closed Sundays.
