The Department of Internal Medicine is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff. A full time Research Associate staff position is available in the laboratory of Dr. George Leikauf, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our dynamic research team focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying acute lung injury. This position is funded by a grant aimed at investigating the progression of lung injury caused by acrolein and phosgene inhalation and exploring potential therapeutic targets. The successful candidate will contribute to multi-omic analysis, in vivo studies, and molecular biology experiments to elucidate the mechanisms of lung injury and resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research with the potential to make a significant impact in the field of pulmonary disease and toxicology. You will work in a collaborative environment with a team of experts, utilizing innovative techniques and state-of-the-art technologies. Required Education
Bachelor's Degree required in degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, or a related field. Required Experience
