Position Description:


Ryerson has an opportunity for a Tax Analyst to join our team. As a Tax Analyst, you are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision work papers to build expertise in ASC 740 requirements.

Role and responsibilities include:

* Prepare income tax account reconciliations and coordinate tax entries with the accounting department
* Analyze fixed asset addition, disposal, and transfer details in the tax books
* Preparation of the consolidated federal income tax returns.
* Assist with the preparation of various separate company and combined/unitary state income tax returns
* Respond to various federal, state, and local income tax notices
* Research various federal, international, state, and local income tax issues
* Participate in federal, state, and local income tax audits
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice


Position Requirements:


* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
* 1 plus year of experience (preferred) or previous Tax internship experience
* Proficient in MS Office
* Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills
* Demonstrate an ability to perform within a team environment and add to the overall success of the team
