- Assist with planning and coordination of the YouthBuild program (partners, activities, resources, etc)
- Keep program on schedule
- Maintain relationships with partners and other key community stakeholders
- Provide outreach and recruitment in preparation for program continuity
- Support YouthBuild team and partners in case conferencing, problem solving, and resource connection
- Implement the transformative culture in all program aspects and ensure students are getting what they need to be successful in the program from all program components
- Deliver lessons as needed throughout the program on topics of career readiness, workplace success, etc
- Develop and maintain effective relatiohnsips with area employers and program participants
- Provide referrals and coordination with other community reseources and activities
- Enter case related data on a regular basis
- Compile and analyze information from a variety of sources to assist in the preparation of reports
- Develop and implement solutions for various challenges
- Responsibible for ensuring timely submissions of required reports and data entry
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; an equivalent combination of acceptable related experience and training may be substituted
- Minimum of three to four years' experience in human services, social services, education, or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work and develop professional relationships with community partners and participating youth
- Ability to collaborate well with others
- Strong computer skills using MicroSoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media, and web search techniques
- Frequent travel requiring a valid driver's license in good standing and automobile insurance
