Basic Purpose

The Sales Support Representatives primary responsibility is to support the assigned sales team in inputting and analyzing system-based data to meet targeted goals through the Nexeo sales management process, from prospecting to closing deals. This role will work closely with the sales team as the liaison in maintaining systems and supporting internal departments in achieving volume, revenue, and margin growth targets.

Description of Primary Responsibilities



  • Support Account Managers on entering opportunities and managing account package hygiene
  • Add and maintain customer consumption records
  • Enter customer sample orders
  • Assist in logging customer call details including call tracking and notes
  • CDF and Forecast Updates
  • Support on end-to-end neXprice management
  • SFDC customer lead and prospect creation and management, including merging SAP and SFDC accounts
  • Lead and arrange MyNexeo customer registration and training.
  • Management of customer contact details in SFDC
  • Upload customer annual quality survey request information
  • Regulatory Requests
  • Document Retrieval-Data Sheets (Compliance Documents REACH and ROHS, Exports, HAPS/HAPA, Supplier Healthcare Forms, ISO Certs, IMDS Requests, PPAP Requests)
  • Interface with business analysts to help answer questions or assure profitability
  • Assist with Customer Invoice discrepancies or past due balances



Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience & Skills)



  • High school diploma or equivalent work-related experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service, administrative, or sales experience.
  • Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks when managing numerous requests and time demands
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills
  • Development of successful marketing strategies
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce.com and Outlook is a plus
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Demonstrated skills to gather information from sources into a consistent process or standard.
